Loading... Please wait...Horned animals are brave and strong. The horn is a great material, ancients used it a lot for its legendary resonance proprieties. Playing a Horn pick gives the authentic feel to perpetuate this legacy...
The Horn(pick)is closer to the Bone in resonance but slightly more warm. It is a fast pick that enhance the notes flows in an effortless controlled motion. I just jam over and over when I grab it, feels perfect for Shred. It's very resistant and will endure all kinds of abusive playings!
Lots of plastic picks try to copy the horn unique grain but the magic is not there and the tone even less... Don't let pass your chance to play the horn pick ... you worth it well

I was originally interested in a Brossard pick as a fashion accessory. I ordered the Dirty Blond Horn (and necklace) based on its color and description. To be honest I didn't expect it to sound much different. I was wrong! The pick feels more comfortable than any other I've used. It plays fast and has a warm, round attack instead of the dull attack I get from a plastic pick. All this and it looks beautiful.
I was not kidding--I have no interest in going back to plastic pick.

Im glad Brossard develop new products and knowing the brunnet horn is my fave, I was very anxious to play the Dirty Blond Horn...
It's great, it really have a genuine horn looking. I also love the "dirt" look which reminds even more to the horn.
The grain and transparency bring unique shades of color tones...It has a very soft touch and allow a wide range of tones. It's totally different from the brunette horn. It is light and with less bright and a bit more grip.
So I can express with it a lot of different colors and playings.
The tip is very sharp and it's a great pick for picking and metal riffing. In addition to my other Brossard picks, I enjoy to grab it in any musical context!
