-  Having lived with your excellent, high quality premium plectrums, I have 2 questions; Could you make picks that are shorter from back to tip (without losing the width)? Secondly could you make picks with a less severe tip? Don't get me wrong-I love the current form factor-but I have a large collection of custom picks (Yours are amongst the finest), and I look at my picks in much the same way that a golfer views his clubs-certain picks for certain songs etc. Slick new site BTW!

Again thanks for sending the Brossard Picks....... Doug Jansen my Musical Director and Guitar Player is using them and Clive Lendich a leading guitar player/session player is now also using them, Clive Lendich works with Manhattan Transfer and numerous other leading personalities. Also Mal Eastick a leading Rock Blues player also has tried your picks......... web sites for both...... www. clivelendich. com. au www. maleastick. com............ both were surprised how good the picks really are... in fact astounded hat they could be so good.
Doug Jansen also uses the picks on a regular basis.
Clive Lendich primarily uses Tom Anderson Guitars and Mal Eastick is endorsed by Fender and uses mainly Stratocasters.
Other players here made aware of the Brossard picks to date are...... Joe Travers/ Graeme Wilson/ Gary Cowling a session Bass Player here also has tried the picks and was astounded at the tonal variation when using the different picks... ie... the wooden/ the bone/ Pearl... all showed different tonal qualities.

But hey,these picks beat everything on the market.
After many experiments with, often self made, picks of many different materials, Christophe's picks are now the only ones I'm using.
The search for TONE has been long and intense.
Now, with these gorgeously crafted picks, I have a palette of sound variations from subtle to quite radical, for both acoustic and electric guitars!
I have now a nice collection of them, all with their own tone and great look and feel.
I'm fortunate to have two Mammoths, my absolute favourites. Even they have their own tone due to their variation in thickness! This goes of course for all picks regardless of material and is certainly something to try out and experiment with.
I've long preferred to play the round(-er) side of picks to give me more tone and less 'clicking'.
With these picks I've returned to using the pointy side. Still, I highly recommend trying the fat side of these picks! The body and depth of tone is astonishing, and I'm not loosing any speed! Very smooth indeed!
I've recently replaced the brass pins with a set of Chris's bone bridge pins on my old blond Guild. Great look, great sound improvement.
Rests me to say that these picks are maybe a bit more expensive than what you get at your local dealer/store, but to me, if you care for Tone, . . . . . .

- Chris, I'm still jamming with the picks that I got from you, and I am still amazed. I'm using them exclusively on the new Suddenly Silence CD titled "Forever and a Day". I'll be getting more when we start touring. I've also been playing them exclusively with my solo acoustic project. If there are any guitarists out there who are looking for a way to enhance their tone without spending a fortune, I would definitely recommend trying a Brossard! You'll never buy Dunlop or any other brand again!

To me, the pick is extremely important. Whether it's 10 cents or 10 bucks is a different issue, but it has to work for me or else I will hate playing with it. I am always looking out for new interesting picks, and these look interesting indeed. The problem with expensive picks is that is sucks to lose them! It's so easy to misplace plectrums. There is no scam with these kinds of picks - they are hand made, not mass-produced - hence the price tag.
  I just ordered a bone and ebony pick. I have heard a lot about these. Maybe I should have ordered a set with more variety, since there are other materials that would be interesting to try.www.brossardpicks.com

The first time I bought an Ebony pick this was it I thought, I wanted nothing else.
Than I lost the pick and decided to buy The Four Players, man I played for 2 hours straight.
This is the truth I can't make a choice which one is the best, I think the truth is they are all good and every pick has his own sound.

-I was in recording studio lately for my instrumental Ep album.
There's still the mastering to do now but the instruments are recorded.
It was a challenging experience to record instrumental music and I can tell how your picks were a precious help and really brought me confidence. I used mostly the ebony custom and horn custom for the tight riffs. The horn is still in a great condition and Im amazed how it is resistant.
I played so much my ebonys that now they are used and I would need more of them.
Is it possible for you to send me 2-3 horn picks and a few ebony picks (wood series). I can share the fees if you want. I just really need more picks now.

I have been playing guitar for 25+ years.  Over the years I must have owned around 30 guitars, although currently I am down to about eight guitars.  I have owned probably ten amplifiers, which now I still have four.  Up until recently I never gave any thought regarding picks.  A few months ago a friend of mine left one of his picks over and I gave it a try.  I was amazed on how different my sound was.  Over the last month I spent a lot of time and money to experiment (fender, Dunlop, stubby, wedgie, etc.).  I remembered seeing some of your picks in some old guitar magazines of mine and I ordered some of them.  I received them today and I just had to write you right away.  Your picks are magnificent!  My rig sounds better than ever and the comfort of holding your picks is unbelievable.  They are big and sturdy and they don't slip out of my hands.
  Your picks can only be compared to a fine bow of a violin.  They are like no other picks, other picks shouldn't even be called picks compared to the product you make.
  I will certainly be ordering more of your picks for two reasons.  One, because I want to try all of them (and I hope your customs that I want get back in stock) and second, when my friends come over to jam they will no doubtably dissapear.

-Wenge is great! Great tone with distortion, the definition of each notes in the chord is incredible. The Mother-of-Pearl is really good for country with the twangy sound that it produces.  By the way, I'm teaching in a city which the name happens to be... Brossard AND this year is their 50th anniversary.

I tried all of them out and they work beautifully! I first tried them on my Flamenco and it gave the sound a whole new crispness that I have been looking for but was unable to get from the typical celluloid pick. I have one made of stone, some sort of agate, and it was clse to what I wanted but only good for a couplle of notes as it would slip out of my fingers. Your grooved design is just perfect and not only can I hang onto the pick , but it gives me great control! I absolutly love them......you just won another customer and advocate for these! I will be collecting much more of these!

-I have played mostly jazz and blues for over 25 years semi-professionaly and like harder picks. I've traditionally used metal picks and thick nylon picks because I like ridgid picks for fast articulate lead work. I decided to try out a few of the Brossard picks because I don't like the "twank" of metal picks and plastic picks are... well their plastic. The Brossard picks blew me away. The tone of the wood on the strings is a match made in heaven. Each different type of wood has a different tone. I've discovered that the picks are like guitars... they each have a different sound. I use specific picks for certain songs. They just sound right."
